OC National Search was founded in 2001 by Michael Mitchel – as a boutique search firm serving clients ranging from startups, non-profits to Global Fortune 10 companies.
With a national and local footprint, Michael completes search engagements for Director, VP, SVP and CXO-level positions. As a search consultant, engagement services include assignment discovery, search strategy, branding, candidate development and interview advising. Michael is experienced in organizational development, strategic development, funding, business development and human resources consulting.
As an honorably discharged veteran from the U.S. Navy, Michael brings the ethos of the military to the foundation of OC National Search’s core values: authenticity, commitment and passion. He prides himself on the innate ability to identify solutions to complex problems, and his tireless motivation for success creates a winning combination for clients.
He has also recruited for federal agencies and U.S. Department of Defense contractors for classified programs internationally.
Michael enjoys all that Colorado has to offer, and is an avid skier, cycler and photographer. On his days off, you’ll often find Michael hiking in the Colorado Rockies with his cattle dog, Kala the Wunderdawg.
Angela Johnson has been a part of the OC National Search team since 2006, specializing in executive recruiting, research and sourcing.
She leads the firm’s critical research and investigative efforts. Research includes candidate sourcing, locating contact information, background and reference checks, client competitor information and market data. Angela executes creative strategies to source, and contact a highly targeted candidate pool.
Angela received a BA in Journalism, from Metropolitan State University of Denver, with an emphasis in Investigative Journalism. She is a certified professional résumé writer, with experience in crafting impactful C-level résumés.
Julie Foreman is a seasoned Sr. Talent professional with over 25 years of experience recruiting all levels ranging from mid-level management to Executive level positions.
While at Juniper Networks, Julie was an integral business partner responsible for supporting all levels within the organization.
Prior to her time at Juniper at Siemens IT Solutions & Services, Julie focused on full lifecycle recruiting and transformed a recruiting team to an internal professionalized talent partner with internal customers and completed all levels of professional and executive searches nationally.
A native of Minnesota, she enjoys travelling, photography and time at her summer cabin.
Holli Keyser specializes in overseeing c-suite global communications strategies, including branding, positioning and marketing. At OC National Search, she leads the firm’s marketing communications, including collateral development and digital communication strategies.
As a Colorado native, Holli has helped leading organizations in the Denver-metro area refine their value proposition through creating concise communication strategies. Holli is also passionate in giving back to the community she grew up in, and is currently a board member at the Post 1 Foundation and a public affairs officer at the VFW Post 1.
She received a BA in Journalism with an emphasis in public relations from Colorado State University, and an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources Management.
